Another person, who was injured in a fire caused by the explosion of rechargeable fan in Narayanganj's Fatullah, died at a hospital in the capital on Thursday morning.
The deceased, Md Tutul, 25, died while undergoing treatment at the Sheikh Hasina National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery.
Four people died in this incident so far, said Md Tariqul Islam, resident surgeon of the burn institute.
He said: “60% of Tutul's body was burnt. Salam Mondol's granddaughter Mehjabin, 7, is under treatment in this incident. 35% of her body sustained burns.”
Earlier, Salam Mondol, 55, died on Monday evening, his wife Bulbuli Begum, 45, died on Tuesday morning and their daughter Sonia, 25, on the same night.
On June 9, five people of the same family were reportedly burnt due to a fire caused by the explosion of a charger fan in Narayanganj's Fatullah Friday morning.
