Storms are lashing different regions of the country, including the capital Dhaka.
The Bangladesh Meteorological Department in its Friday morning weather bulletin said rain or thunderstorms with intense lightning flashes accompanied by temporary gusty wind will occur at different places in Bangladesh.
The regions are Rangpur, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions and one or two
places in Rajshahi, Dhaka, Khulna, Barisal and Chittagong divisions with hail storms at isolated places, reports BSS.
Day temperatures may remain nearly unchanged and night temperatures may rise slightly over the country.
The country's maximum temperature on Friday was recorded at 35°C in Khulna and Mongla and Friday’s minimum temperature of 18.5°C was recorded in Netrokona.
The sun will set at 6:23pm on Friday and rise at 5:31am on Saturday in the capital.
