Two people died in Manikganj, when a bus crashed into an autorickshaw on the Dhaka-Aricha Highway.
The incident, in which a bus operated by ‘Selfi Paribahan’ rear ended the parked three-wheeler, was reported on Saturday from near the Mahadebpur bus stop, said police.
Two people, who were inside the autorickshaw, died on the spot, said Riyadh Mahmud, the in-charge of the local Barangail Highway Police outpost.
The bus has been seized but police are yet to track down the driver and his assistant, he said before adding the bodies have been sent to the Manikganj General Hospital for autopsy.
