Two people riding motorcycles have been killed in separate road accidents in Kushtia.
They were identified as Mohsin Hossain, 35, a cigarette factory worker, and Siam, 18, both hailing from Bheramara Upazila.
On Friday morning, Siam was seriously injured after his motorcycle was hit by a truck in the Hawakhali field area of Dhubail Union in Mirpur.
According to locals, he died on the way to Kushtia Sadar Hospital.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Mirpur police station Golam Mostafa confirmed the death.
On Thursday night, another accident occurred at Allahdarga on Daulatpur-Bheramara road as Mohsin’s motorcycle was hit by a truck. He died on the way to Daulatpur Upazila Health Complex.
Daulatpur police OC SM Jabid Hasan confirmed the information.
