A massive fire broke out at a styrofoam factory in the Nitaiganj area of Narayanganj on Wednesday.
Flames erupted in the warehouse of the factory at around 10:30am, said Abdullah Al Arefin, deputy assistant director of Narayanganj Fire Service.
At least ten firefighting units rushed to the spot and managed to douse the flames by 11am, he added.
No casualties have been reported so far, but many of the factory's products and equipment were damaged in the fire.
