A motorbike hit a pedestrian on the Dhaka-Tangail Highway killing the rider and the pedestrian.
The incident was reported on Thursday at the Koratipara area on the highway.
The deceased rider was identified as Sajib, estimated to be in his 30s, while the pedestrian’s identity is yet to be confirmed, said Assistant Sub-Inspector Md. Nobin Hossain of the Tangail police outpost.
According to the police officer, the rider lost control of his bike before hitting the pedestrian, leaving both of them dead on the spot.
The bodies have been kept at the Tangail General Hospital.
