Two truck drivers were killed in a road accident on the Dhaka-Sylhet highway in the early hours of Sunday.
The incident took place at the Dayamir union under Osmani Nagar upazila of Sylhet district.
The deceased are Kamrul Islam, 50, from Gopalganj district, and Idris Ali, 42, from Khulna district.

Confirming the matter, Superintendent of Highway Police Shahid Ullah said the two drivers were standing on the road after offering prayers when a stone-laden truck from Sylhet ran over them.The duo died on the spot.
The bodies were sent to Sylhet MAG Osmani Medical College Hospital for autopsy.
