Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) has recovered 30 bombs and 1.5kg gun powder from the carpeting mill area in Jessore, confirmed by RAB official after concluding a drive.
A team of RAB-6 recovered thirty powerful bombs after searching a pond adjacent to Shahidul Islam alias Sappa's house.
Shahidul died on Wednesday at Dhaka Medical College Hospital after being critically injured in a bomb explosion when making these bombs at his own residence near Carpeting Bazar area under Avoynagar upazila of the district on Tuesday.

"Shahidul was preparing these powerful explosives devices with a motive of serious criminal activities," said Lt Col Mostaq Ahmed, commander of RAB-6, Khulna, at a press briefing around 4pm on Friday.
Later, a bomb disposal unit rushed to the spot and deactivated those explosives.
Shahidul’s wife was arrested by Avoynagar police in connection to this.
