Police recovered the bodies of three people, including a husband and wife, from a Rohingya camp in Cox’s Bazar’s Ukhiya upazila on Friday.
The deceased are Nurul Islam, 32, his wife Marium Begum, and sister-in-law Halima Khatun, 22.
A family dispute may have led to the murder of the three, suspect police.
However, the actual reason behind the incident could only be determined after a thorough investigation, said Ukhiya police station OC Md Sanjur Morshed.
The dead bodies had been sent to the state-run hospital of the district for autopsies, the police official added.
According to locals, the husband and wife had been quarrelling for some time, and several meetings were held to resolve the situation.
The couple is survived by their three children.
