Chief Justice of Bangladesh Syed Mahmud Hossain has been administered the Covid-19 vaccine as Bangladesh rolled out its nationwide immunization efforts amid tepid responses from vaccine seekers.
The chief justice received the first of the two doses of Oxford-AstraZeneca’s coronavirus vaccine at the Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College Hospital (SSMCH) around 3pm on Sunday.
Meanwhile, 54 Supreme Court (SC) and High Court (HC) judges were also immunized the same day at the vaccination facility in Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU).
