The officers-in-charge (OCs) in six police stations have been transferred in a latest reshuffle at Sylhet Metropolitan Police (SMP).
SMP Commissioner Md Nisharul Arif on Wednesday said the OCs of six police stations had been transferred in the beginning of a new year to restore the good image of Sylhet police, which was marred after the death of Raihan Ahmed in the custody of Bandar Bazar police outpost on October 11, 2020.
The decision was made by the Police Headquarters, said a press release sent by SMP Additional Deputy Commissioner BM Ashraf Ullah.
