A mobile court terminated the operations of a drug addiction rehabilitation centre in Brahmanbaria as it didn't have any certified practitioner and necessary equipment to provide services.
The institution called "Osru, " located in Dakshin Poiratala area of Brahmanbaria district town, was sealed off on Monday.
The court handed over 13 admitted patients of the rehabilitation centre to their parents while 17 others were ordered to be admitted in registered hospitals.
Raj Kumar Biswas, the executive magistrate of the mobile court had said: "The rehabilitation centre has no license of running operation. We also haven't found any doctors. It operated illegally, so we sealed it off."
