A cobra weighing about three to four kilograms was found in Tushardanga area of Satkhira's Assasuni upazila on Thursday. Locals guessed that the snake is about five to six feet long.
Locals trapped the snake in a cage after one Halim Sarder found it in his fish farming enclosure, according to several eye-witnesses.
Until the filing of this report the snake was kept near the Goaldanga-Pratapnagar main road of the upazila. Many locals thronged there to get a glimpse of the venomous reptile.
