A 15-year-old girl has reportedly been gang-raped by four men after her house owner plotted and assisted the incident in Majukhan area of Gazipur municipality.
The incident took place on Friday, when the prime accused Selina Akhter, the girl’s house owner, confined her to one of her rented rooms--where the suspected rapists were waiting for the teen-- and assisted the gang-rape, confirmed Nazmul Haque Bhuiyan, officer-in-charge of Pubail police station.
The accused are, Shah Alam, 37, Abu Hanif, 46, and two unnamed men-- among which Shah and Hanif were arrested from the locality Sunday night and sent to jail through the court, police confirmed.
Confirming the incident, Pubail Police OC Nazmul said: “The house owner Selina and the rest two accused are on the run since the incident and we are making drives to catch them.”
