A woman was gang-raped after she was forcibly taken to a garden from her home in Chhagalnaiya upazila of Feni at around 9pm on Friday.
Police arrested 4 people in connection with the misdeed on Saturday morning after the 30-year-old woman filed a case with Chhagalnaiya police station, said the police station’s Officer-in-Charge (OC) Mezbah Uddin.
The arrested were identified as Ekramul Haque Parvez, 19, Nizam Uddin,19, Imran Hossain (19), and Kamin Ullah (20). They are inhabitants of Uttar Mandira village in the upazila.
The accused were sent to jail following a court order on Saturday evening, the OC added.
