The hanging body of a doctor of Enam Medical College and Hospital was found at his residence in Daskhin Dariapur area in Savar, on the outskirts of Dhaka yesterday morning.
AFM Sayed, officer-in-charge of Savar model police station said on information, police recovered the hanging body of Dr Samuel Folia, son of Badal Folia, hailing from Missionpara village of Chandpur district.
He was an assistant registrar of the Department of Oncology of the hospital.
The OC said Samuel might have committed suicide over a family dispute.
The body was sent to Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College and Hospital morgue for an autopsy, adding the cause behind the death will be known after getting the autopsy report, the OC also said.
