A woman and her two infants have been killed after a tree fell over them during a storm at Char Aicha village of Char Fesson upazila early on Wednesday.
The deceased were identified as Ringku Begum, 30, her children Junayed Hossain, 5, and Tanjid, 3.
Md Abdul Mannan, president of Char Monica Motshojibi League, said Ringku's husband was a trader at Dhalchar area. Around five months before, they bought a piece of land in the village and have lived in a tin shed house there since.
Char Fesson Upazila Nirbahi Officer Md Ruhul Amin said, “We have visited the spot after the accident and financial support was provided for burial.”
