Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) detained a Rajshahi University (RU) student from a secret meeting of the banned militant outfit Ansar al-Islam in Rajshahi.
Acting on a tip-off, RAB-5 conducted a raid at an abandoned house in Kazipara village of Godagari upazila on Sunday and detained four members of the militant outfit including the RU student, says a RAB press release.

On Friday, Rahman called his father and said he will be back by afternoon. But as afternoon turned into evening, Rahman's family found his phone switched off and filed a case at Shahjahanpur police station stating that he had been missing.
Abdur Rahman's younger brother Rakib said: "My father received a call on Sunday from police and was told to visit my brother under police custody. My brother is not involved in any militant organization"
