Three journalists of two private television channels in Chittagong have tested positive for Covid-19.
They were diagnosed with the disease after their test results came out on Monday.
The journalists are -- Staff Reporter Jobair Monjur and Cameraperson Harun Ur Rashid of Channel 24, and Cameraperson Mohammad Alamgir of Independent TV.
Chittagong Bureau Chief of Channel 24 Kamal Parvez said that the condition of his two colleagues was stable and they were staying at home.
Independent TV's Chittagong Bureau Chief Anupam Shill said his infected colleague was on leave since May 7 and his condition was also stable.
Previously, two journalists of United News of Bangladesh (UNB) and Independent TV tested positive for Covid-19 in Chittagong.
Covid-19, a severe acute respiratory illness caused by a new strain of coronavirus, has claimed 349 lives and infected 23,870 people in the country as of Monday.
