Ten people who were previously diagnosed with the new coronavirus have made recovery and were released from the hospital in Gaibandha.
Confirming the matter Monday night, the district Civil Surgeon Dr ABM Abu Hanif said: “The first patients detected in the district were mother and son. Later, 10 patients including them were admitted to the 100-bed temporary isolation centre at the Ansar and VDP training centre. Following their lengthy treatment, their results came back as negative. So, they were released from the hospital on Monday afternoon and were put in home-quarantine for 14 more days for observation.”
There are 23 confirmed cases in the district as of Monday, of whom 12 patients are undergoing treatment at isolation wards.
