Two monkeys were sighted on a wall in Sultanpur village of Mirpur municipality in Kushtia yesterday.
The two monkeys have reportedly been in the area for the last few days in search of food.
Curious people were seen crowding around the monkeys while some were feeding the two starving animals.
Resident of the area Isa Haque said the two monkeys started wandering around the area a few days ago and eating food given by people in the area. Some people were feeding them bananas, biscuits, and bread.
Local school student Rumon Ali identified the monkeys as capped langurs.
Latifa Begum of the same village said the two monkeys were spending their days eating food given by locals, but were not attacking anyone.
