Frustrated locals organized a human chain protesting the collapse of the Bhadra-Daptiar road in Nagarpur upazila of Tangail on Monday.
The Local Government and Engineering Department (LGED) recently renovated 500 metres of the Bhadra-Daptiar road. However, just under month of completion, the road had collapsed in the middle.
Local said the contractor company using low grade construction materials, built the road amid corruption and irregularities.
