The export and import activities between Bangladesh and India through the Sonamasjid land port will remain suspended for nine days on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha.
Toufiqur Rahman Babu, general secretary of Sonamasjid land port export-import association, said the trade activities will remain closed from August 9 to August 17 on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha, the second largest festival of Muslims.

The port activities will resume on August 18.
However, immigration services through the port will remain normal during this period.
