Different parts of Bangladesh are likely to experience light to moderate rain with moderately heavy to heavy rainfall in the southern part of the country in the next 24 hours till 9am tomorrow.
“Light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at many places over Khulna, Barisal and Chittagong divisions and at a few places over Dhaka, Mymensingh, Rajshahi, Rangpur and Sylhet divisions," the Department of Meteorology said on Monday, reports BSS.
"Moderately heavy to heavy falls at places over southern part of Bangladesh likely to occur”, it said.
“The rainfall activity may increase over southern part of Bangladesh”, it added.
However, the bulletin predicted that the day temperature may fall slightly over southern part and may remain nearly unchanged elsewhere, with an unchanged night temperature across the country.
The highest temperature on Sunday was recorded 36.5°C at Kutubdia and minimum temperature on Monday will be recorded 25.7°C at Rangamati in Chittagong division.
