Police on Thursday arrested a man for raping four children in four consecutive days in Tongi of Gazipur.
Locals handed him to the police when they apprehended him after he raped the fourth child in his rented place Thursday night.
The arrestee Jasim Uddin, 55, is a local grocery shop.
Tongi East police station OC Kamal Hossain said the arrestee confessed to his crimes.
According to his confession, from Monday till Thursday, he raped four children each day, luring them with money.
Two cases were being filed the girls’ family members, added the OC.
