At least three minor girls were raped in Comilla and Pabna across the country.
In Comilla, two minor girls were raped in Homna upazila and Debidwar upazila.
In Homna, a fifth-grade girl was raped in Bagmara village, reportedly by Jalal Mia, on Monday.
Police arrested Jalal's associcate, Abu Saleh, on Monday after the girl's father filed a case against four with Homna police station.
On Monday, Jalal lured the girl to his house and reportedly raped her. Saleh was with him during the rape.
In Debidwar, police arrested an auto-rickshaw driver, Md Sohel, 24, from Mohammadpur village for raping an eleven-year-old girl.
On June 8, Sohel lured the girl with promises of giving her Tk20 and reportedly raped her. He also threatened the girl, telling her not to share the incident with anyone.
On Tuesday, the girl fell sick and told her mother about the incident. The girl's mother informed police and filed a case against Sohel with Debidwar police station.
In Pabna, police arrested Abdur Rahim, 55, on Tuesday for raping a four-year-old girl.
On Monday, Rahim lured the child to his house and raped her. Hearing the child scream, locals rushed to the spot but Rahim escaped.
The girl’s father filed a case on Monday against Rahim.
