Border Guards Bangladesh (BGB) recovered 53 improvised bombs from Jahurpur border in Chapainawabganj.
Based on a tip-off, BGB conducted a drive and recovered the improvised bombs from the house of a Jahirul Islam in Jhaunia village near the border area on Sunday, confirmed BGB 53 Commander Lt Col Sazzad Sarwar
At the time of the recovery of the homemade bombs, no one was present at the house, he added.
Filing of a case is underway over the incident, said the BGB commander.
