A man has been killed by a rogue elephant in Naikhongchhari upazila of Bandarban district.
The deceased, Maeching Ong Marma, died on Sunday around 4am.
Police said people saw his body lying on the ground in the Headman area. Passersby informed the police, who arrived at the scene to recover his body.
Naikhongchhari police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Anwar Hossain said his body had been sent to Sonaichhari police.
Later, police returned his body to his family.
