A Bangladeshi cattle trader has been gunned down in Biral upazila of Dinajpur by members of the Border Security Force (BSF) of India.
The incident occurred at the Dharmajan border in Kathalia of Dharmapur union early on Sunday.
The deceased was identified as Alam, 40, son of Moshahoq Ali, hailing from Kamdebpur of the same union.
Confirming the matter, Naik Mehedi Hasan of Dharmajan Border Outpost (BOP) said Alam was coming back home along the border side road when BSF shot him dead.
Later, his dead body was recovered by locals.
