Four people were killed and four others injured in road accidents Khulna, Comilla, and Habiganj yesterday.
In Khulna, a motorcycle carrying three people including twins was rear-ended by a car in the Boroitola ghat. The deceased Majharul Islam, 25, and Sakin Alam, 11, died on the spot. The injured Fahim Aktar, 11, was taken to Khulna Medical College Hospital.
In Comilla, a woman identified as Dolly Aktardied on the spot and two others injured after being run over by a CNG three-wheeler in the Muradnagar upazila.
In Habiganj, a man was killed and two others injured in a collision between a CNG and a truck in Olipur, Habiganj. Joydeb Sarkar, 55, died at the Habiganj Sadar Modern Hospital.
