An international flight of Biman Bangladesh Airlines carrying 100 passengers has made an emergency landing at Shah Amanat International Airport, following a technical glitch on Monday afternoon.
Kazi Khairul Kabir, acting manager of Shah Amanat International Airport, told the Dhaka Tribune that the Dhaka-bound flight of the national flag carrier coming from Singapore made an emergency landing at 5:44pm.
"An engine of the plane broke down all of a sudden. However, the pilot made the emergency landing safely. There has been no damage or casualties," the airport manager added.
