A bus accident killed four and left 18 injured on Khulna-Satkhira road at 5pm on Sunday.
The bus driver, who absconded along with the helper right after the incident, had lost control of the vehicle and drove it into a wayside ditch.
Three passengers died on the spot located in Dumuria upazila, another died after he was taken to a local hospital, said Officer-in-Charge of Dumuria police Shubash Saha.
The bus was carrying a group of Sanatan devotees who were returning to Satkhira after attending a religious event in Gopalganj.
