Wall collapse kills two

Two people died as a mud wall collapsed on them in Ghoraghat upazila of the district on Wednesday. Police said the deceased were Abdul kafi, 45 and Deljer Hossein, 50, of Nurpur village in Ghoraghat upazila. Ghoraghat police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Israel Hossain said the accident took place at noon at Nurpur village. The mud wall broke down on Abdul Kafi and Deljer when they had been trying to break it throwing water, the OC said. They had been sent to Ghoraghat Health Complex where on duty doctors declared them dead, he added.
