A woman has been crushed to death by a train in Chittagong.
The incident took place in Ponthisila Hadipara area of Sitakunda Upazila on Thursday, reports UNB.
Thevictim was identifies as Wahida Begum, aged 62, of Hadipara.
She was run over by the Chittagong-bound Sonar Bangla train while walking on the tracks, Sub-inspector Nur Mohammad of Sitakunda Railway Police said quoting the locals.
She was killed on the spot. Police recovered the body and handed it over to her family.
