A sex worker has been killed in Daulatdia brothel in Rajbari.
The victim,Nila,was found in her room with her throat slit on Sunday evening. Before that, a client had gone into her room around 7pm.
Later, Goalanda Ghat police recovered her body, after being informed by the locals.
Goalanda Ghat police station Officer-in-Charge (OC )Ezaz Shafi confirmed the incident.
He said: “A blood-covered knife was seized from the crime scene. The body was sent to District Sadar Hospital for autopsy.”
“We are already working on arresting the culprit,” the OC added.
