RAB arrests drug traders with 1,455 bottles of phensedyl from Natore

RAB has detained two drug traders with 1,455 bottles of phensedyl from Shingra upazila of Natore.

They were detained on the early hours of Monday, Commanding officer of Natore RAB Mainul Islam confirmed to the Dhaka Tribune.

The detainees are: Babul, 45, from Shyamganj area of Lakhsmipur district and Abdus Samad, 37, from Ainata village of South Keraniganj.

According to the commanding officer, acting on a tip-off, a RAB team led by Additional Superintendent of Natore police Zayed Shahriar conducted a drive in the Shingra area in the early hours of Monday.

At that time, the team detained two drug traders with 1,455 bottles of phensedyl, three mobile phones, four sim cards and one truck from Babul Filing Station in Shingra. 

Police are undertaking legal actions against the detainees.
