Sponsor of specialized institution "Proyash", Dilshad Nahar Aziz, has distributed different disability aids among children with special needs in the Rajshahi cantonment.
She distributed, among other things: Germany made hearing aids, wheel chairs and prosthetics to the children on Tuesday. The event was attended by the members from the management team of Proyash.
Proyash, an initiative by the Rajshahi cantonment, started its journey on June 15, 2005 to help physically and mentally challenged children. Previously named "Shena Shoyahok School", it was renamed "Proyash" in 2010.
Currently, there are 12 nationwide branches of Proyash. The Proyash in Rajshahi was incepted on January 3, 2016. It currently has 75 studends and a 20-member staff.
