Two people, including the car’s driver, have been killed in a road accident in Rajbari.
A private car lost control and plunged into a roadside ditch in Bagduli Kathaltola area, of Pangsha upazila, around 8:30am on Thursday.
The deceased are Ripon Kazi, the car’s driver, from Mirzapur upazila of Tangail district; and Monir Ahmed, 40, the car’s passenger, of Manikganj district.
Rajbari Fire Service and Civil Defence Deputy Assistant Director Md Shawkat Ali Jordar told the Dhaka Tribune: "Acting on information, our Pangsha team went to the spot and recovered the bodies and the car."
"We have handed the bodies over to the police," he added.
