A college student has died after being hit by a bus on the Cox’s Bazar-Chittagong highway.
The incident took place on Friday around 2pm at the Ramu Crossing area, which left another one injured.
Cox’s Bazar Sadar Hospital police box In-Charge Apon Hossain confirmed the news.
The deceased was identified as Md Bappy, 21, son of Ganiuddin of Chakaria upazila. He was a student Ramu College.
According to locals, Bappy was taken to Cox’s Bazar Sadar Hospital after getting seriously injured by a Hanif Paribahan bus. The on-duty doctor pronounced him dead upon arrival.
