Rapid Action Battatlion (RAB) has detained three members of banned militant outfit Jama’atul Mujahideen Bangladesh in Chapainawabganj’s sadar upazila.
Acting on a tip-off, a team of RAB 5 conducted a drive at Chatigram of Jhilim union, around 1am on Thursday, and nabbed them.
The elite force also seized a jihadist literature from their possession, RAB 5 Camp Commander Sayeed Abdullah Al Murad told a press briefing.
The detainees are Harun-ur-Rashid, Abdur Rahman, and Golam Azam.
Legal proceedings against them are underway, the RAB official said.
