Cox’s Bazar tourist police introduces help desk services

Bangladesh Tourist police has unveiled a new help desk service, set up with the aim of better providing assistance to visitors regarding their complaints and issues. Cox’s Bazar Tourist police Superintendent Md Zillur Rahman inaugurated the service at Laboni beach point on Saturday. Speaking at the event, Zillur Rahman said that the help desks will initially be available at three beach points: Laboni, Sugondha and Kolatoli. Tourists can use the service centres to file complaints as well as to receive first aid. The help desks have also been provided with buggies to conduct patrls. Furthermore, a program called “cycle security” has also begun at hotels, motels and cottage zones. Through the initiative, the tourist police will clean the beach alongside workers, according to SP Zillur Rahman. Additional superintendents Md Fazle Rabbi and Rayhan Kazemi attended the event, along with other tourist police officials.
