2 students among 3 killed in Natore road crashes

At least three people, including two college students, have been killed in separate road accidents Baraigram upazila of Natore. Jhalmalia police outpost in-charge Sub-Inspector Shariful Islam said a Banpara-bound truck hit a motorbike in the Ahmedpur bus stand area around 2pm on Tuesday, leaving bike rider Abdul Alim, 24, a student of Ahmedpur Degree College, dead on the spot. Another rider on the bike, Imranul Haque Khan, 18, who is also a student of the college, was severely injured and whisked off to Natore Sadar Hospital, where doctors declared him dead. Earlier at midnight on Monday, a truck hit a private car which parked in the Garmati area on the Pabna-Natore highway, leaving car driver Syed Ali, 50, dead on the spot and two others injured.
