Woman killed in Kushtia boiler blast

A female worker has been killed and two others were injured in a boiler blast at a rice mill in Kushtia's Khajanagar area Sunday night. The deceased is Sabia Khatun, 50. The incident took place around 8pm while the workers were boiling paddy in Daud Mondol rice mill, witnesses said. The critically injured, Ramela Khatun, 39, and Samsul Haque, 37, were taken to Kushtia General Hospital where doctors advised Sabia be taken to Dhaka. On her way to Dhaka, Sabia died in the Kumarkhali area of Kushtia.
