Hefazat-e-Islam Bangladesh announced that they changed the location of their grand rally from Cox’s Bazar to Laldighi Maidan, Chittagong on October 6.
The radical Islamist group declared the change of location on Thursday.
They are holding the grand rally to demand the repatriation of Rohingya refugees to the Rakhine state in Myanmar.

Azizul Haque Islamabadi, organising secretary of Hefazat-e-Islam Bangladesh told the Dhaka Tribune they decided to change the venue of the grand rally in compliance with the request of the authorities concerned.
Islamabadi added that Hefazat Chief Shah Ahmed Shafi and other senior leaders of the organisation will attend the grand rally which will take place after Jumma prayers.
