Decapitated bodies of two women recovered from Munshiganj shrine

Police have recovered beheaded bodies of two women from the Barek Lengta shrine in Bhitishilmandi area in Munshiganj’s Katakhali upazila. Munshiganj Sadar police station acting OC SM Alamgir Hossain confirmed the matter to the Dhaka Tribune. Caretaker of the shrine Md Masud Khan informed the police when he discovered the dead bodies inside the shrine on Wednesday morning. Masud said: “The two women Amena Begum, 60 and Taizun Khatun, 48 used to stay inside the shrine at night. The women might have been killed sometime around Tuesday midnight." Alamgir told the Dhaka Tribune that the two bodies were sent to morgue for autopsy. He said: “We are investigating the matter. No one has been arrested yet in this connection.”
