2 Rohingya injured in Myanmar landmine blast admitted to CMCH

Two Rohingya, who sustained injuries from a landmine allegedly planted by the Myanmar army, were admitted to Chittagong Medical College Hospital (CMCH). The victims are Yususf Nabi, 28, and Hasan, 25. Sub-Inspector Alauddin Talukdar of CMCH police outpost confirmed the matter to the Dhaka Tribune. He said five Rohingyas, including two men with injuries received from a landmine blast, were brought to the hospital on Sunday night. “The two sustained injuries in the legs, and are being treated at the surgery ward of the hospital,” added SI Talukdar. As of Monday, a total of 90 Rohingya, including women and children, came to CMCH to receive treatment. Of them, two have already succumbed to their injuries.
