6-hr hartal in Rajshahi City today

Citizen Rights Protection Sangram Parishad convener Enamul Haque made the announcement in a press conference yesterday. He alleged that RCC authorities have been collecting extra taxes, holding and signboard fees for long. Though local inhabitants urged the authorities to withdraw the increased fees several times, RCC authorities did not hear their demands. In this case, we are compelled to call a 6-hour hartal from 6am to 12pm to fulfill our demands, he said. He also urged all people of the city to success the hartal.
