Hindu Idols desecrated again

Temple Committee member Ashis Kumar said locals found the heads of two idols vandalised and another one burned when they went to ‘Swashan Kali Mandir’ in the morning. On receiving information, assistant police super (Circle) Shahid Suhrawardy and a team of Kaliganj police station visited the spot. Talking to reporters, the ASP said culprits damaged two idols and torched another in the temple. “We’re looking into the incident,” he said.
