Quader: Govt to fully implement CHT peace accord

The minister made the statement while addressing a rally in Ramgorh upazila bus terminal area in Khagrachhari on Tuesday morning.

Terming land conflict as a major problem in the CHT, the minister also said CHT land dispute resolution commission had already started its work and would resolve the land disputes within the shortest possible time.

He also said government had taken various programmes to uplift the living standards and life of the hill tracts people.

My ministry has already completed work on 16 bridges while work on 34 bridges is under construction,” he said, adding that Jaliya Para-Sindukchhari-Mohalchhari road construction would start "very soon".

He also advised Awami League and its front organisation leaders to resolve internal feuds and work unitedly to make Sheikh Hasina’s dream a success.

Khagrachhari district Awami League President Kujendra Lal Tripura, its General Secretary Md Jahedul Alam and Rangamati district Awami League President Dipankar Talukder, among others, spoke on the occasion.
