Indian court cancels godman Rampal's bail

The High Court in India has cancelled the bail of controversial preacher Rampal in a murder case filed in 2006.

The High Court of Punjab and Haryana passed the order on Thursday morning, reports the Times of India.

The court had issued fresh non-bail able warrants against him.

Rampal was arrested arrest from the Satlok Ashram in Barwala, Haryana on Wednesday.

Later, he was produced before the court after medical examination.

"We have examined him and his condition, including his blood pressure, is stable," BK Bansal, a doctor at Panchkula's Sector 6 General Hospital, told media.
